Good morning! As I write this I am venting my frustrations on how bad the security industry has gotten here in Canada BC. It has been discribed as a meat market . Were you get guards who don't speak English and are never trained properly by their respective companies they work for and supervisors who are not qualified to be supervisors. Let me tell you that the part of guards not speaking English is a big issue . Think about it! Say you have security on site and someone is breaking in to your place . Then guard dials 911 and the dispatcher can't understand a word that is being said to them because the fucking guard dose not speak English!. What if his co worker is out on patrol and EMS is sent to the wrong location because again the fucking retarded moron guard dose not fucking speak English! It endangers peoples property and lives !!! .  That's not to mention the fact half of them don't even know how to write reports and lie on them . I'm not saying that all Companies are bad but seriously if you care about your site add a interview clause in your contracts . Now about the fucktard supervisors who are unqualified . I have met security supervisors that were placed on a site based on a account management feelings not on any real fact based decision making like certifications or prior experience but yet as I said above they have known the person for a while .  This leads to a cluster fuck of stupidity and lack of site management. The are literally placed on a site without any form of guidance in most cases . Just here you go now you deal with it . Then when shit hits the fan they don't listen to their guards . Anyone else see the cluster fuck of a mess this industry is .  You the guard end up paying licencing fees of 60-120 dollars depending on the time span . You pay union fees and your union dose jack shit for you . You make around 12$ an hour and nobody will lift a finger to properly train you . Good luck with any sort of future because this industry is fucked .If you care at all about your site hire internally and apply for the permits . Interview your staff and have them on a contract . Lastly the legality here in BC is basically you must have a certain amount of libility insurance and everyone must be licensed to work as a security guard . Do your homework and in the end you should be fine .  Most properties have property management companies so they can be your intermediary and legal reps . If you can hire AST guards with 2 years experience in customer service as this is more for their safety then do so. Preach customer service first and show them crime  prevention methods and risk management . Encourage them to ask questions when they are not sure about things . Lastly and most importantly phase out the retards who get in this industry and have no pride in their work as those ones will do nothing but waste your time and money. Good luck and smack a fucktard of you see one .  Lol
